Hazel spent her childhood and attended schools in Shannon County, MO. Later she was united in marriage to Willie J. Chrisco, who preceded her in death in 1930. She later married Ralph Elliott who passed away in 1977.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both her husbands, Willie and Ralph; three infant children; four sisters; two brothers; and one grandson.
She is survived by her two daughters, Wanda W. Cox and Helen Shelton; a sister, Wilma Willis; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Hazel had lived in Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado, and moved to Oregon five years ago. She had lived in Hepner with her daughter for four years and the last year in Prineville. She was a homemaker and enjoyed the hobby of cooking and also enjoyed singing in earlier years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Eminence.
Funeral services were held Friday, Mar. 18 at 3 pm in the Duncan Funeral Chapel at Eminence with Rodney Brown officiating. Interment was in Shannondale Cemetery under the direction of the Duncan Funeral Home of Eminence.
