Funeral of W. C. Haines
The remains of W. C. Haines, who died on Friday morning, were laid to rest in Park Cemetery Sunday afternoon. The funeral service was held on South Grand avenue at the home and was conducted by Dr. H. O. Scott of the First Presbyterian Church.
Many neighbors and old friends attended and there were many floral offerings. A choir comprising Mrs. Robert Briggs, John Harris and Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Sewall sang and the pallbearers were: Robt. Moore, T. K. Irwin, J. L. Moore, B. J. Gladden, Hugh Campbell and J. E. Lang.
