ARTESIA--A funeral for Lupe Perez Grado, 54, of West Washington Avenue, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Temple with the Rev. Bobby Argo of Artesia and the Rev. Johnny Gonzalez of Roswell officiating. Interment will follow at San Marcos Cemetery.
A prayer service will be 7 p.m. Monday at Terpening and Son Chapel. The family will be receiving friends at 907 Washington Ave.
Mrs. Grado died Friday, March 1, 2002, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.
Terpening and Son Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Lupe Perez Grado was born May 10, 1947, in Artesia to Santiago C. Perez and Juanita Hernandez Perez.
She married Miguel Grado on Dec. 15, 1973, in Artesia. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1984.
Mrs. Grado was a housewife and lifelong resident of Artesia. She attended Trinity Temple Assembly of God.
Survivors include a son, Nicolas Grado of Artesia; daughter, Raquel Grado of Artesia; brothers, Esa Perez of Salida, Calif., Urbano Perez of Hobbs and Tony Perez and Pete Perez of Artesia; sisters Anita Delgado and Sophia Saiz of Artesia; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Robert Perez, Christopher Perez, James Perez, Pete Perez Jr., Gabriel Delgado and Daniel Boone. Honorary pallbearers are all other family members.
