Howard Ray Bond, 80, of Dugspur, passed away on Monday, Nov. 24, 2008 at Trinity Mission Health & Rehab Center of Hillsville. Mr. Bond was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanetta Bond. He is survived by wife, Evelyn Bond of the home; daughters & sons-in-law, Brenda & Charles Nester of Luray, Debra Bond & William Vest of Dublin, and Jennifer & Alan Gardner of Dugspur; son, Julian Bond of Christiansburg; step-children & spouses, Melvin & Judy Boone of Shawsville and Renee & Richard Kingrea of Christiansburg; grandchildren & spouse, Heather & Randy Turman, Joshua Bond, Amy Quesenberry, Sharon Quesenberry and Andrew Gardner; step grandchildren & spouses, Melisa & Darrell Gilmore, Steven Kingrea and Tommy & Sherry Kingrea; and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at Mitchell Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Blevins and Rev. Harvey Carico officiating. Burial will follow in the Cox Cemetery. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel of Hillsville is in charge of the arrangements.
