Lillian Marie Comte, 85, of 233 N. 13th St., died Thursday, June 16, 1994, at home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Crawshaw Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeff Koch officiating. Burial will be in Tower Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Berean Christian Church.
Mrs. Comte was a homemaker.
She was a member of Berean Christian Church, Murphysboro Senior Citizens and St. Joseph Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
She was born March 19, 1909, in Murphysboro, Ill., to Julius and Frances (Reeder) Mileur.
She married Eugene A. Comte on Jan. 31, 1930. He died in 1970.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, David Eugene and Marilyn Comte of Cape Girardeau and August F. "Skip" Comte of Elkville; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. William (Gloria) Comte of Crocker, Mo.; two nieces, Helen Frances King of Murphysboro and Rosemary Pieron of Miramar, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two granddaughters, Beverly Comte and Nancy Marie Comte, one grandson, Timothy Austin Comte, one son, William Comte, and one daughter-in-law, Terri Comte. Terri died June 1, 1994.
