DIES FOLLOWING ACCIDENT
William Sterling Price Hilleary, 72, prominent resident of near Hunnewell, died at 11 o'clock Friday night in St. Elizabeth hospital Hannibal, from injuries received in an accident Wed., afternoon when the buggy in which he was driving was struck and overturned on U. S. Highway 36, east of Hunnewell by a stock truck. Mr. Hilleary was thrown to the pavement, suffering a fracture of the neck and severe head injuries.
Mr. Hilleary was born at Warren, Marion county, March 21, 1862 a son of the late William C. and Elizabeth Hilleary, and for the past eleven years lived with his two surviving brothers, Tom D., and Lee Hilleary of near Hunnewell.
Funeral services were held Sunday morning at 11 o'clock at Andrew Chaped by Rev. J. A. Hughes with burial in the Andrew Chapel cemetery.
