John E. "Eddy" McFee, 75, of Elizabeth, died June 14 at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, following a brief illness. He was born in Wirt County, the son of the late Eurie and Dessie Riffle McFee. He was a retiree of Keene Corporation, formerly Penn Metal, of Vienna. He was a member of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics No. 33 of Palestine, a veteran of World War II with the United States Army serving with the 23rd Infantry Combat Division for which he received a Purple Heart and three Bronze Stars.

He is survived by his son Sam McFee; a brother, Warren McFee, both of Elizabeth; two sisters, Lucy Reynolds of Elzabeth and Lula Abbott of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Oma I. Edwards McFee, a son, Eddie L. McFee; an infant son, Edgar Paul McFee.

Services were held June 17 at the Matheny Pomroy Funeral Home of Elizabeth with the Rev. David F. Morris officiating. Full military graveside services were offered by the Honor Division of Fort Knox, Kentucky. Burial was in the K of P Cemetery, Elizabeth.
