Died-J. Warren Ball, born 12-29-1917. He was married twice, first to Miss Wilmuth Smith in 1866, and second to Miss Corine J. Warren, 3-18-1968. There were ten children born to Mr. Ball. The oldest one preceded him to the grave. Mr. Ball enlisted in the Confederate Army in 1863 under Captain William Turner, Colonel Winfred Regiment, and served to the close of the war. His wife preceded him to the grave only a few years ago. He was laid by gentle hands in the family cemetery after very solemn funeral services at the Baptist church of Angie, conducted by Rev. J.J. Walker and C.T. Corkern, after which the last rites by the Masons.
