Vicky Kay Edie, 67, a resident of the ASTA Care Center, Toluca, formerly of Pontiac, died at 8:50 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 19, 2012) at the Care Center.

Per Vicky's wishes, her body has been donated to science. .

Vicky was born on June 30, 1945, in Morris, a daughter of John and Isabelle Bowers Smith.

She had been married to William E. Dehm.

She later married Joe Edie on Jan. 23, 1982. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Dehm, Makawao, Hawaii; one son, Mike (Debi) Dehm, Jenison, Mich.; one daughter-in-law, Angie Dehm, Pontiac; six grandchildren, Josh Dehm, Jason Dehm, Tiffany Dehm, Jacob Dehm, Jayden Dehm and Emily Dehm; and one brother, James Smith, Normal.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Steve Dehm.

Mrs. Edie graduated from Pontiac High School. She had worked as a waitress and a nurse's aide. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Pontiac.
