Her New Hampshire Death Record shows that she was born and died in Keene, but US census records of the year 1910 show that her family was in residence in Nelson, Cheshire County, New Hampshire.
Orinda had two older brothers, John E., born about 1905, and Eugene G., born about 1907. Soon after the death of Orinda, the family moved to Dracut, Massachusetts where the entire family worked in one of the local cotton mills.
Her parents later divorced, Maud remarried Lloyd K Snell and resided in Exeter, NH.
