BORLAND, FORREST—Funeral services for Forrest Borland were held at the Hrubesky funeral home in Geneva, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Isaac Cassel officiating. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery with the American Legion post conducting a service at the grave.
Mr. Borland resided here several years when his father, the late G. R. Borland was Burlington agent. He graduated from Geneva high school in 1914. He served in a medical detachment in World War I. He passed away at the Hines Veterans hospital in Illinois. He was forty-eight years of age.
The deceased is survived by his mother and two sisters, Mrs. Borland and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Lamb, were here for the funeral.
