George W. GILMORE, aged 84, of 309 Prospect Ave., SE, passed away Monday eve. after a 1 month illness. Surviving are the widow, Cora: 3 sons, Vernon F. GILMORE of Detroit, Arthur W. GILMORE of Grand Rapids & Earl G. GILMORE of Elk Rapids & one daughter, Mrs. Harvey COMRIE of Grand Rapids: 12 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the O'Brien Colonial Home. Rev. Saul Miller Officiating. Interment Restlawn Cem. Arrangements by the Arsulowicz Bros. Funeral Home.....Grand Rapids Press, 05Sep1950
