Funeral services were scheduled to be held here Wednesday for Agnes Stahly Balk, 78, of Oskaloosa, Iowa. Mrs. Balk died Saturday. Services were to be field at 2 p.m. at The
Missionary Church with burial at Blue Mound Cemetery.
Mrs. Balk was the widow of Dr. Edward Stahly. The couple worked as missionaries in India. Dr. Stahly died in 1961. Mrs. Balk was a registered nurse and worked, in public health much of her life. After the death of Dr. Stahly she married Leslie Balk in
December, 1963. He survives her.
Also surviving are two sisters, Hattie Houltz, Bismarck, North Dakota and Mable Price, Center, North Dakota as well as several nieces and nephews
