Spartanburg -- Funeral services for Mrs Mamie Carter O'Quinn, 82, of Spartanburg, will be conducted at 3 pm Monday from the JF Floyd Mortuary by the Rev Voight Tahlor. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs O'Quinn died Saturday at the General Hospital after a long illness. She was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church and was the daughter of the late MH and Mary Graves Carter. She was the wife of the late LW O'Quinn.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs WDA Shealy of Spartanburg and Mrs CE Poore of Greenville; one adopted daughter, Mrs Minnie H O'Quinn of Columbia; three sons, Harry L O'Quinn, Marion A and Arnold O'Quinn of Spartanburg; one sister Mrs BR Hiers of Hampton; one half sister, Mrs Edna Hicks of Lodge; one brother, RM Carter of Walterboro; one half brother, Paul Carter of Charleston and seven grandchildren.
