Clarence Razor Killed At Goose Creek Tex.
M. C. Jennings received a message this morning notifying him of the killing of his son-in-law, Clarence Razor, at Goose Creek. The message stated that Razor was shot twice, once through the head and once through the heart.
Further particulars were not given, nothing definite as to the funeral having been arranged.
Mr. Razor was born and reared here and leaves, besides his wife, formerly Miss Inis Jennings, his parents and other relatives besides many friends and associates who will sincerely regret to learn of the tragedy.
He had been employed in the Goose Creek oil field for some time.
Since writing the above we learn that Mr. Razor was killed in a difficulty over the impounding of hogs, Mr. Razor having been poundmaster at Goose Creek. It seems he had taken up some hogs belonging to a party who went to get them out, the man being accompanied by his son. The difficulty arising over the matter the son fired the shots that killed Mr. Razor.
Mr. Razor was only 26, years old. Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. Razor of Saturn and his wife, he is survived by two children and a large number of brothers and sisters. His father left on the noon train for Goose Creek to investigate the matter. Up to the time of going to press no definite plan for the funeral had been made.
