Possibly born in North Star Ohio. Henry and his wife Mary Roetgerman (Ida's parents) lived on a farm in North Star until around 1917 when August Albers, Henry's father, died and left the family farm to Henry. The Albers family farm is within comfortable walking distance of St. John's church where August, his wife, his mother, and his son Henry are all buried. The Albers family farm is currently inhabited by August's great great granddaughter and her husband. They maintain a neat commemorative sign in their side yard which acknowledges the 1849 founding of the farm by August.

I met Ida once when I was young. She was in her late eighties or early nineties and she was very spunky. Earlier that day she had cut her own grass. She was also rearranging her kitchen after getting her cabinets refaced.
