Florence Margaret Beekman, a 21 year resident of Nice, passed peacefully on May 21, 2005 in Napa. Florence was born in New York City. After graduating from high school, she became a nurse at Westchester Hospital. She loved spending time with her five grandchildren, playing bingo and helping people in their time of need. She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed traveling to many destinations. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Beekman and two daughters, Theresa Taylor and Jeanne Conlisk. Florence will be put to rest at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
