The marker they observed read "Jessie."

He married on 25 Feb 1880 in Boone Co., AR, (1) Rachael Young b. 1859 in Marion Co., AR, d. abt 1888 in Zinc Twp, Boone Co, AR, buried at the Davidson Cem., Boone Co., AR; they had 4 children: William Ward b. 1880; James Melton b. 1883, John Qunicy b. 1885, and an unkn Matlock b. abt 1888.

He married on 22 Feb 1890 in Boone Co., AR, (2) Mary Alzana Forgey (buried at Ross Cem.), daughter of Joseph Forgey and Samantha Young; they had the following children: Ada, Elmer, Alby, Rosetta, Eli W.; and Albert T., Ted, Jesse Boyd, and Katty Matlock (all 4 buried at Ross Cem.).
