He married on 22 Feb 1890 in Boone Co., AR, (2) Mary Alzana Forgey (buried at Ross Cem.), daughter of Joseph Forgey and Samantha Young; they had the following children: Ada, Elmer, Alby, Rosetta, Eli W.; and Albert T., Ted, Jesse Boyd, and Katty Matlock (all 4 buried at Ross Cem.).
