WITTMANN--Graveside services for John DeWitt Barry, 83 will be conducted at 9 a.m. tomorrow in Wittmann Cemetery by the Rev. Paul J. Halvorson of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glendale.
Friends may call at Brazill-Whitney Glendale Mortuary, 5754 W. Glenn Drive, Glendale, from 3 to 9 p.m. today.
Mr. Berry, a native of Cedar Hill, Tex., moved to Snowflake in 1918 and in 1920 to Nadaburg, now Wittmann. His father and brothers homesteaded at Nadaburg in 1918.
His father was postmaster at Wittmann and Mr. Berry was an assistant postmaster most of his life at Wittmann. He and the Berry brothers operated a grocery store at Wittmann.
A sister, Mrs. Jennie Falks of Fort Worth, Tex., and a niece, Mrs. Rita Webb of Glendale, survive.
