Benny Wayne Hoke, 61, of Whittier, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012. He was the son of the late Leo and Lucille Spence Hoke. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Benny Dale Hoke.
Benny is survived by his wife Roberta Jones Hoke; by four daughters, Megan Hoke, Louan Hoke, Heather Waldroup, and Mary Jones; by six sons, Robert Wayne Hoke, Chris Brown, Luke Dodd, Chris Dodd, Ricky Waldroup, and Charles Jones; by four sisters, Carla, Loretta, Vanitta, and Bonnie; by five brothers, Roger, Evan, Albert, Mert, and Mike; by four grandchildren, Cydne, McKayla, Landon, and Aiden; and by many nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services for Benny Wayne Hoke were held Friday, August 10, 2012, at 2:00 PM at the Bumgarner Cemetery, Whittier, NC, with Rev. Tom Sneed officiating.
