Fuchia (Connie) Eggett Boynton Eichers returned home to her husband and her heavenly family on July 6, 2002. Connie was born July 16, l920 in Bountiful, Utah to Charles Walton Boynton and Lillie Ann Eggett Boynton. She married Jasper William Eichers on June 24, 1939, and 18 years later they solemnized their marriage in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 24, 1957. She was educated at West High School and Stevens Henagers Business College. While her husband served in the US Navy she worked as a secretary for Douglas Aviation in San Diego, California. Returning home to Utah she worked side by side with her husband at his business, Myers Cleaners. She also worked for the Utah State Juvenile Court system. She continued her secretarial career working for First Security Corporation for 27 years. Because of her diligence and skills, she was promoted to a Trust Administrator for the Trust Dept. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held secretarial positions in the Park Stake Young Women, and assisted her husband with the Park Stake Sports program for many years. She later served as secretary in the Millcreek Stake Second Ward Sunday School for 18 years, serving with five different bishoprics. She participated in church choirs for many years, starting with the Park Stake 'Singing Mothers'. She loved the hymns. Her special interests were music, camping and bowling. She loved her family and especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son and daughter of Salt Lake City: Ronald J. (Lynette) and Lillie Ann (Lewis) DeYoung; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sister Isabella (Edward deceased) Boynton McGee, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers, and three sisters. Funeral service will be held July 11 at the Millcreek Stake Center chapel, 4220 South Jenny Lane (420 East) at 12:00 noon. Friends and family may gather Wed. night July 10, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, and also Thursday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South..
