NORFOLK - Carlton L. Francis, brother of local residents, died Sunday, March 31, in the Bronx, N.Y.
He was a native of Norfolk.
Mr. Francis is survived by two sons; four sisters, including Gwendolyn W. Chisman and Nettie J. Washington of Hampton; five brothers, Benjamin M. Washington Sr., Francis Washington, George W. Washington, Burl Washington and Joe L. Washington of Hampton; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Robert G. Murray. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norfolk.
