COLOMBUS GROVE, Dec. 29 -- David Sharon Blosser, 57, superintendent of the local sewage treatment works until his retirement four months ago, died at 1 a.m. today of a heart attack at his home on W. Sycamore-st. He also was a former councilman and blacksmith.

Surviving are his wife, Daisy Mary, and the following children: Ensign Gerald R., now in active Navy service; Lieut. Joe E., of the Army Air Corps, San Marcus, Tex., Private Charles R. of Camp Barkelye, Tex., Max W. of Columbus Grove; Mrs. Lester Lowe of Cortland, O.; Miss Wilma Blosser of Dayton; and Miss Betty Jeane at home. Also surviving are three brothers, Dr. C. R. Blosser of Dunkirk, O., and P. F. and W. F. Blosser, both of New Stark, O., two sisters, Mrs. Dan Hostettler of Sugar Creek, O., and Mrs. Ernest C. Miller of Goshen, Ind., and his step-mother, Mrs. Ellen Blosser of New Stark.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Presbyterian church in New Stark. Burial will be in Dunkirk. The Rev. Jessie Anglemeyer of New Stark will officiate, assisted by the Rev. C. W. Armentrout of Columbus Grove. The body will be removed from Humederry's to the family home Wednesday morning.
