Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Stumm's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oswald King, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon of May 3, Rev. Lumb officiating. Mrs. Glade and Mrs. Orton sang two hymnal selections and there was a profusion of flowers. Interment was at Oak Knoll. The pallbearers were Clyde King, John and William Stumm, John Anderson, Alfonso Howard and Jos. Townsend.
Mrs. Stumm, whose maiden name was Gertrude May King, was born in Princeton on June 3, 1891, and lived
here the greater part of her life. On July 29,1910, she was married to Geo. F. Stumm of Princeton.Her husband and the following five children survive her: Loren G., aged 11 years; Willard F., aged 8; Donald L., aged 5; Evelyn May, aged 2, and a baby born April 13. She also leaves her parents Mr. and Mrs. Oswald King; two brothers, Clair of Washington and Clyde of Minneapolis.
Mrs. Stumm was of a sunny disposition, kind hearted and generous; a loving wife and mother and a good
neighbor who will long be missed.
George Stumm and children extend sincere and heartfelt thanks to neighbors and friends for the kind assistance rendered during the illness and at the death of their beloved wife and mother, also for the beautiful floral offerings.
