Robbie Jay Munson McDonald, age 93 of Galveston, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014. She was born July 30, 1920 in Lavaca County to Mack and Loma Archer Munson. Robbie was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors are, daughters, Olivia Johanson and husband James of Burnet, Donna McElroy of Houston and Renee Templer of Galveston; sons O.H. McDonald of Las Vegas, Nevada and Robbin McDonald of Austin; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, sister, Wilma Dean Kelly; brothers, Clifford Munson and Gilbert Evans.
Funeral service 1 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home in Yoakum, with Rev. Bert Bagley officiating. Burial at Pilot Grove Cemetery.
