Pittsburg-Services for Charles W. Strube, 88, Pittsburg, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at
Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Pittsburg, with Rev Steve Packer officiating. Burial will be in New Mine Cemetery in Camp County.
He was born Jan. 28, 1916 in Camp County, to the late Willis E. Strube and Zela Carperter Strube. Mr. Strube died Feb. 26, in Pittsburg.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg. He retired from Gulf Oil Corporation after 35 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, LaVerne B. Strube; Pittsburg; son, Jack D. Strube, McKinney; three grandchildren; five-great-grand-children.
Pallbearers will be Frankie King, Chuck Johns, Hurbert Carprnter, Dallell Strube, Roger Nichols and Murrell Carpenter.
Viewing will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at thr funeral home.
