WENONA - (PNS) -
Henry J. Volz, 86, died at his home in Osage Township at 1:30 p.m. Monday following an illness of about two years.
His funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Church, the Rev. P.A. Reddy officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Thierry Funeral Home.
He was born at Metamora on March 17, 1875, the son of Martin and Felicitas Fagot Volz.
He married Louis Schneider at Benson on Feb. 13, 1900. They farmed in Indiana and Iowa until 1920 when they moved to the Wenona vicinity. She died in 1956.
Surviving are
four daughters,
Sister Mary Theodora, Moline;
Sister Mary Felicitas, Kewanee;
Sister Mary Frances, Rock Island;
Mrs. James White, Wenona;
two sons,
Louis,
and Henry U., both at home;
and a half brother,
Frank Volz, Creve Coeur.
He was a member of St. Mary's Church and affiliated with the St. Mary's Men's Council.

Lourdes Parish, Worth Township, Woodford, Illinois.
His parents were Martin & Felicity Volz.
There is also an obituary for him in the Metamora (Woodford Co) Herald, which would only happen if he had a tie to the area.
