ENOSBURG FALLS – Edward S. Charland Jr., age 89, passed away Thursday morning August 16, 2012 at the Redstone Villa Nursing Home in St. Albans.

Edward was born August 31, 1922 in Lyndonville, VT the son of the late Edward S. & Candace (Webster) Charland Sr.

Edward was a resident of Enosburg Falls since 1948. He worked as a milk tester for DHIA and then became a self-employed milk tester. He was a U.S. Army veteran during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post # 42 of Enosburg Falls.

He is survived by his brother, Donald Charland of Coventry, RI; 2 nieces; and good friends, Susie & Dick Ewins of West Berkshire.

A graveside service will be held Monday August 20, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Missisquoi Cemetery, Missisquoi St., Enosburg Falls. There will be no visiting hours.
