Myrtle M. Herrick, age 96, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Lexington Park Assisted Living. She was born December 26, 1915 in Beloit, Kansas the daughter of Scott and Anna Rufenaucht Day.

She graduated from La Junta, Colorado High School.

She married Ralph Herrick July 19, 1936 in La Junta, CO.

She served with her husband Ralph in various churches throughout the Midwest where she taught Sunday school and was active with the A.B.W.

She was a longtime active member of the First Baptist Church in Topeka.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband Ralph on August 27, 1985.

She is survived by a son, Donald Herrick and his wife Deb of Topeka; a daughter Janice Hedberg of Topeka; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be today, Friday, August 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Topeka. Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at davidsonfuneral.com.
