Lois D. Adams, 77, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at St. Mary Corwin Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born September 24, 1934 in McCook, Nebraska the third child of Alfred Herman and Mammie "Helen" (Jussel) Ahrens. On June 9, 1951 at the First Methodist Church, Goodland, Kansas, she married Jim Frank Adams.

Lois was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pratt and the Order of the Eastern Star, Star of Hope Chapter #193 in Greensburg, Ks.

She is survived by her husband, Jim, three daughters; Roberta and husband Ed Stauth of Greensburg, KS, Darlene and husband Gary Hemphill of Pratt, KS, and Barbara and husband Dale Housman of Dodge City, KS, six grandchildren; Zandrea (Shannon) Ardery, Gunnar Stauth, Kely and Kirk Hemphill, Joshua (Kelli) and Jamie Housman, five great grandchildren; Taylor and Rustin Ardery, Parker and Claire Stauth and MvKenna Housman, five sisters; Erma Nikkila of Ubana, MO, Susan Barnes of Bremerton, WA, Sondra Price of Indianola, IA, Carol Allen of Grand Island, NE and Debbie Camargo of Red Bluff, CA and one brother Dwight Ahrens of Roy, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Caroline Ahrens and Alvena Williams.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, August 14,2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Greensburg, KS with Reverend Terry Mayhew and Dr. Dan Ferguson presiding. Burial will be Fairview Cemetery, Greesburg, KS.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Greensburg or Pratt in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt, KS. Condolences may be left at www.larrisonmortuary.comLois Adams, 77, died in Pueblo. Service in Pratt, Kan.
