Hannibal H. Harwood, 86, of 518 W. Campbell, who suffered severe burns on the arm while lighting a gas stove Monday at home, died about 6 a.m. Saturday in Lamar Medical Center.
Born in Yell County, Arkansas, March 10, 1882, he had lived at Honey Grove before coming here about 25 years ago.
He leaves no known relatives here, Mrs. Bob Guess being a niece by marriage.
Graveside rites in Silver Cross Cemetery will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Othoe Stegall, Church of God pastor, Gene Roden & Sons directing burial.
