Nannie B. Drew, 62, Dies At Hospital

Mrs. Nannie B. Drew, age 62 years, 719 south Race street, died at the Methodist Hospital here Friday night at 6:45 o’clock after an illness of several months.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the First Baptist church conducted by the Rev. Ford Porter, pastor, assisted by Dr. J. P. Nesbit, pastor of the United Presbyterian church. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

Surviving are the husband, Ruby Drew, four daughters, Mrs. Arthur Murley, Princeton, Mrs. Frank Loucks, Petersburg, Mrs. Floyd Rogers, Princeton, and Mrs. H. A. Nash, Los Angeles, Calif.; three sons, Ancel, Claude, and Charles Drew, all of Princeton; 11 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Coomer, Princeton, and two sisters, Mrs. Silas Myrick of Oatsville, and Mrs. John Fletcher of Princeton.

Mrs. Drew was born in Adair county, Kentucky, near Columbia, on August 4, 1875 and had been a resident of Gibson county for the past 38 years. She was formerly a member of the Methodist church in Union and attended the First Baptist church in this city.

The body will be taken to Colvin & Son funeral home late this afternoon, to the residence where it will be until the funeral hour Tuesday.
