Dallas Lowrey, 85, of Broken Arrow, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Dallas was born March 17, 1925 in Skiatook, Okla., to Jeter Brown and Vada (Fraizer) Lowrey. Dallas was Cherokee. He grew up and received his education in Skiatook, graduating in 1943. He married Geneva Martha Archer Nov. 20, 1946 in Pawhuska, Okla., and they made their home in Skiatook until moving to Broken Arrow in 1963, where they have made their home since that time.

Dallas was a dairy farmer in Skiatook, and was self-employed as a Barber in Broken Arrow for many many years until he became ill in April of this year. Dallas liked to dance, bowl and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, as well as a member of the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Broken Arrow. A Faithful Catholic. Dallas loved and served the Lord.
Dallas was preceded in death by his mother and father, four brothers and by two sons.

Dallas is survived by his wife, Geneva of the home; five children, Patricia Ann Ingersoll of Skiatook, Juanita Marie Weddington of Tulsa, Peter Michael Lowrey of Broken Arrow, James William Dale Lowrey of Broken Arrow and Cecelia Marlene Cook of Broken Arrow; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Rosary for Dallas Lowrey was held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and mass was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Joe Nguyen presiding. Interment followed in the Osage Gardens Cemetery.

A loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle.
He will be missed by All.
