Saturday at the Sterling Community Hospital
following a two month illness.
She was born June 2, 1877 at Abilene.
She moved from Abilene to Rush County as
a young girl and then came to Sterling.
She had been a teacher in her youth.
She was a member of the Sterling Baptist Church.
On Sept. 8, 1897 she married J. R. Bunn at
La Crosse, Mr. Bunn died in March 1937.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs.
John Rine,Sterling, Mrs. Vernon Sherman,
Berkley, Calif., Mrs. Bill Siemsen, Lyons
and Mrs. Troy Ofenbaugh, Wellington; four
sons, Clinton, Riverside, Calif., Robert
of Los Angeles, Paul Wonmouth, 111 , and
Rollin of Los Angeles; 14 grandchildren and
16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a m. Wednesday
at the Porter Funeral Home Chapel, Sterling
and 2 p.m. at the Piltman-Hoover Funeral
Home, La Crosse with Rev. Wayne Fink
officiating. Burial will be in the La Crosse Ceuetery
