Vivian Deck,87, died of natural causes. She was born in ND, but attended schools in Winnett, MT before moving to Great Falls where she graduated from high school. She attended the College of Great Falls and taught elementary school in Fort Benton. On 9 Dec 1941 she married Earl H Deck.
Together they built Deck's Western Motel in 1951 and owned/operated it for over 30 yrs. They also farmed in the area.
Vivian was a charter member and past president of the Great Falls Flower Growers.
Survivors include her husband; 3 sons, Jack, Stanley and Ted; a sister, Beatrice Gray of Sun City, AZ; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
