She came to North Dakota with her parents when she was 16. The family settled at Kelvin, N.D., and she was married there to Mr. Miller April 22, 1906. They farmed near Cando the rest of their lives.
Besides her husband she left three sons, Charles, John and Roland of Cando; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Aurilla) Olson, Cando, and Mrs. Lawrence (Nellie) Hagbom, Regent, N.D.; a brother, Virgil Lockhart, Redondo Beach, Calif., and 21 grandchildren.
