She was a 1933 graduate of Altoona High School and was employed for many years as a clothing buyer for Montgomery Ward. She then worked 14 years as an office manager for Kmart, retiring in 1982.
She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, loved her grandchildren and was a volunteer at Bon Secours-Holy Family Hospital.
She and James had a daughter, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
