ROTH -- Ellen Roth a resident of Albuquerque passed away on May 4, 2009. She was born to the late Emanuel and Judith (Wolff) Feder. She is survived by her three brothers, Dr. Jay Mitchell Feder and wife Michelle, Robert Feder and wife Debbie, Jon Feder and wife Janet and seven nieces and nephew. Ellen was a teacher for over 30 years and taught at Chelwood Elementary School for 20. A service will be held for Ellen on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Congregation Albert, 3800 Louisiana Blvd NE. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Chelwood Elementary School, 1207 Constitution Ave. Albuquerque, NM 87112 c/o Ellen Roth, all proceeds benefit Ellen's pet project, a book for every child
She granduated from the University of Miami (FL) in 1970.
She taught English to students in California for a while and then moved back to Albuquerque, her home town, and taught elementary school for the remainder of her life.
She was a gentle, wonderful person who was murdered in her own home.
