She was born June 4, 1920 to Charles and Phoebe Crawford, in Homestead, PA.
She is survived by children C. Kenneth (Carol) Smith, David W. (Mary Ann) Smith and Lynda J. (Bill) King; stepchildren Kenneth Eckwert, David Eckwert and Mark Eckwert; grandchildren Courtenay Wagner, Michelle Hancock, Kristen Anderson, Kara Smith, Melissa Cardenas, Kenny Smith, Eli Smith, Kris Baltierra and Benjamin Smith; and 17 great grandchildren.
Ethel is preceded in death by her parents; husbands Clyde W. Smith and John W. Eckwert, sister Jean Strang and brother Ronald Crawford.
