William W. Aul, aged 69 years a retired teamster died in his home here yesterday. (Nov. 25, 1927) Death was caused by a complication of diseases. His health had been impaired for the last several years. The deceased is survived by his wife.

William W. Aul, a son of Casper Aul, was born at Perrysville, Indiana county, December 7, 1856 and was married to Miss Matilda Learn in Indiana county January 20, 1882 by Rev. A. B. Runyan, of the Baptist denomination. Both Mr. and Mrs. Aul were members of the Baptist church until 1889 when they located at Wilmore and joined the United Brethren denomination there.

The deceased was identified with the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen.

Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. J.J.L. Ressler in the U.B. church, Wilmore at 2 PM. Saturday and the burial will be in either the Wilmore or South Fork cemetery.

The following will serve as pallbearers : Wallace Herbie, O. J. Jones, Daniel Hess, A. M. Teets, Guy Blaisdell, and Percy Klingensmith.

The body has been prepared for burial by George Bros., South Fork undertakers. Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been completed.

AGED 73 YEARS

He was a prominent resident of Wilmore and passed away at his home of a complication of diseases. He was a son of Casper and Catherine Aul of Georgeville and was born December 7, 1854. He was united in marriage with Tillie Learn. The deceased was engaged in driving team and resided near Georgeville until 30 years ago when he located in Wilmore. He was a member of the United Brethren church. He leaves his widow and these children: Mrs. Robert Horton of Wilmore, Mrs. Edward Skipper of Reading, Mrs. William Leis of Altoona, Mrs. Lester Sipples of Nanty Glo, Eugene Aul of Wilmore and George Aul at home. He also leaves a number of grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. David Bell of Marion Center, Mrs. William Bush of Smicksburg, Curt Aul, Buffalo, N.Y., McCurdy Aul, Caylor, Pa., Mack Aul, Smicksburg, Danks Aul, Marion Center and Laney Aul of Sagamore.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in his home church. The Rev. J. I. Resaler officiated and interment followed in South Fork cemetery. Those that attended the funeral from a distance were William Bush and wife, McCurdy Bush and wife of Smicksburg, McCurdy Aul and wife of Caylor, Danks Aul and wife, daughter Veda, Glen Aul and wife from Marion Center, Laney Aul and wife of Sagamore, John Laughry and wife of Marion Center, James Laughry and wife, Marion Center, George Laughry of Marion Center, Jay Hamilton and wife of Covode, Benton and Hugh Learn, Ambrose, John Learn and wife, Indiana and Mr. and Mrs. Edward James, Johnstown.
