The Oklahoman, Tuesday, May 13, 1941: Funeral for Charles E McCrae, 57, president of McCrae Securities Inc, who died of a stomach ailment Monday in St Anthony Hospital after a six week illness, will be at 4 pm Wednesday in Street & Draper funeral home. The rites will be conducted by Very Rev. James Mills, dean of St Pauls Episcopal Cathedral. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. McCrae retired from business 1 1/2 years ago. Prior to his retirement he maintained offices in Kansas City and dealt in municipal bonds and securities. Nine pall bearers listed (names omitted).
