Toano, Va., July 31- R.M. Garrett, a sawmill owner near Toano, was killed today at his mill. A piece of scantling caught in the machinery and fell against his head, crushing it and killing him instantly. He was thirty-five years old. He leaves a wife and four children. The funeral will take place tomorrow at Olive Branch Church.
