Cellistine "Tiny" Thebo, 89, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away September 16, 2010, at home. Funeral Service will be 12 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd., KCMO. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, KCMO. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Tiny was born Jan. 1, 1921, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Jake and Cellistine Sarah Volts moving to the Kansas City area over 70 years ago. She worked as a LPN and later was a stay at home mom. She was a member of the Methodist Church, a Scouts Den Mother, Volunteer at hospitals and nursing homes and had been active in the PTA. Tiny was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Thebo.
Survivors include her sons, William J. (Lea Murray) of Independence, MO., Thomas J. (Judy) of KCMO and Dennis L. (Sarah) of KCMO; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Arr: McGilley Midtown Chapel. 9816) 753-6200.
