Obituary: Blood Poisoning Fatal. John Ring, residing near Mazomanie, died at a Madison hospital Monday morning from blood poisoning. The infection started in one of his hands from a sandbur thorn. Two amputations were made on his arm, the last at the shoulder, in an effort to check the malady. Mr. Ring was reared near Plain, a son of the late Adam Ring, but for a number of years has been engaged in farming near Mazomanie. He was 51 years of age, and was an industrious and highly respected citizen. The funeral was held at Sauk City Wednesday and interment was made in St. Luke's cemetery at Plain.
