BREMEN - Norval Byron Beane, 83, of Bremen, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012, at home. He was born on May 28, 1929, to Lyle and Nora (Romer) Beane in Reed City, Michigan. He married Elsie Ellen Litchfield in 1956. She preceded him in death on April 2, 2010. Norval worked for Alro Steel. He was an avid golfer and bowler. He was a member of the Plymouth Moose Lodge and the Walkerton Square Dance Club. He enjoyed being on the water, being outside, and watching the grandkids play ball. Norval is remembered by his family as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Norval is survived by a son, Gary (Phyllis) Beane of Rochester; a daughter, Sharon (Pat) Schutz of Bremen; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Chrissy Clingerman) Schutz, Christopher Schutz and Toireasa (Zack) Hundt; a great-grandson, Ethan Schutz; a great-granddaughter, Natalie Hundt; and two sisters, Joyce Boocker of Bremen and Leona (John) Stoneburner of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elsie, and by a brother, Robert Beane. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012, at 10 AM at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Pastor Neil Wonnacott will officiate.
