Gene R. Moser, 65, died at home in Allen, KS on Wednesday, August 8, 2012.

He was born on September 22, 1946 in Yale, Oklahoma to Walter and Luzetta (Dennis) Moser.

Gene worked at Hallmark Cards, Iowa Beef Processing and as a car salesman for Bob Jarvis. In 1980, he became a self-employed car dealer.

He and his wife enjoyed going to auctions and collecting antiques. Gene loved to hunt and fish, which led to many entertaining stories that he loved to share with friends and family. Not being able to watch his grandson grow up, to create more stories with him, was his only sorrow.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Erma Graybeal, and a brother, Harold Van Scoyk.

In memory of Gene Moser, the family suggests contributions be made to the Beau Arndt Foundation, 2685 Rd C, Americus, KS 66835.
