Louisa Crain wife of J.S. Crain, and daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Beesley, born January, 13, 1859, died February 24th 1898, age 39 years. Deceased had been a patient sufferer for many years with Catarrh of the stomach but had only been confined to her bed since January 4th, '98.'
Her remains were brought to the east end of the county and interred in Clifty Hall Cemetery February 26th, '98.' She became a member of the Christian church at the age of 15 years, and from that time till her death she lived the life of a consistent christian, and left the evidence behind that she died triumphant in the faith, and she has gone to receive her reward.
A loving wife and mother, a kind friend and sister, one who was loved by all who knew her, has crossed the dark river of death before us. But dear friends mourn not for her who has left us. Her spirit awaits us in the bright beyond and we may meet her in the land of the blessed, where parting never comes for she is only, "Asleep in the arms of Jesus, Asleep on His gentle breast, There by His love o'ver shadowed, Sweetly her soul shall rest."
