He was born in Rockland, Ohio, and was the son of the late Ralph E. and Margaret Frame Bowersock. He worked for 34 years for the Storck Baking Co. in Parkersburg, W.Va., and retired from the Pierce Food Service. He was in the Marine Corps. He attended Rockland United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, the Order of the Eagles and the "19th Street Country Club." He graduated from Belpre High School in 1959. He enjoyed boating, and snow and water skiing.
