Rev Lemuel Robert Brandon was the son of Josiah Brandon (1761-1842) and Rachel Brown Brandon (1767-1847).
He was born in N.Carolina but moved to TN between 1816 and 1820. He married his first wife, Rebecca Burgin(1799-1845) in 1816 in N.Carolina. They had 10 children:
