CEDAR FALLS—Services for D. Kelly Allender, 23, of 1921 Rainbow Drive, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Heights Baptist Church with burial in Orange Township Cemetery, Waterloo. Mr. Allender died Saturday morning at University Hospitals in Iowa City of injuries received in a Delta Wing Glider accident Friday night at Greene, where he was performing with the Waterloo Waterhawks Show Team.

He was born Oct. 4, 1960, at Waterloo, the son of Donald and Marlene Moser Allender. He was employed by Northrup King Co.

Survivors include his stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Dick L. Meyer, 127 Lobdell Road, Waterloo; his father of 427 N. Francis St.; a brother, Scott of 127 Lobdell Road, Waterloo; a stepbrother, Kevin Meyer of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Candace Allender Rockers of 1809 Mandalay Drive; a stepsister, Tanya Meyer of 127 Lobdell Road, Waterloo; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Mender of 114 Amity Drive, Waterloo; and a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Moser of 225 W. Ridgeway Ave., Waterloo.

Friends may call at Chapel of Memories West in Waterloo from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, and at the church for one hour before services Tuesday. The casket will not be open.

Memorials may be made to Cedar Heights Baptist Church.
